REACH Illinois partners
Employer-assisted housing programs are a great way to help employees find and finance housing closer to work. REACH (Regional Employer-Assisted Collaboration for Housing) partners, are a network of nonprofit housing experts, who administer EAH programs and make them cost effective and hassle free. REACH partners provide full program administration; working directly with homebuyers, they provide credit counseling and other assistance through the homebuying process to save employers the administrative costs and burden. In addition, REACH partners are the approved intermediaries to access the state tax credits, reducing the program costs for the employer.
REACH partners help employees access other resources, including state matching funds, the Federal Home Loan Bank's Downpayment Plus assistance, IHDA's Mortgage Credit Certificate, and first-time homebuyer programs. REACH partners are also familiar with private lender programs, and help employees evaluate mortgage products and take advantage of any special programs individual lenders may offer.
